There are numerous ways to help. Here's how:

Lyrics For Life's fight against Cancer can only grow stronger only through you and your eagerness to get involved. We are grateful for your willingness to give your help, your heart, your time and energy.

Aside from the larger events, friends from around the country have developed new ways in which to help Lyrics For Life on their own. Whether it's by helping us plan for future events or by organizing your own fundraising program, we will find a way to make your commitment meaningful.

If you are interested in making Lyrics For Life informational brochures available at your workplace or posting a linked banner on your website or MySpace page, please contact us at info@lyricsforlife.org for materials.

As An Artist

Lyrics For Life would not be possible without the support of the artist community. We welcome your participation and the level of involvement is up to you and can include any or all of the following:

Handwritten Auction Items. Provide us with handwritten song lyrics to be offered for sale in one of our auctions. They can be written on anything - a scrap of paper, a surfboard or a unique found item (the more creative, the better). Framed and treated as a work of art, the item will be put up for auction at a Lyrics For Life event or via our website. We will be happy to create a linked banner for your website or MySpace page to promote your item and would encourage you to spread the word to your fans via newsletters and message boards.

Give a monetary donation (tax-deductible).

Distribute informational brochures and/or allow donation collections at your merch table at appropriate concert venues. If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, you can allow us to send one of our volunteers to shows in their local market.

Perform at events benefiting the Lyrics For Life Foundation (or host one yourself).

Put us in touch with your charitable organization so we can explore synergies. (We seek opportunities to work in tandem with other charities where appropriate, so we'd love more information if you are involved with one of your own).

WE GET IT. As an artist, we know you can't do everything yourself. Just take 5 minutes and jot down a verse & chorus to your song on anything you see fit - we'll take it from there. No matter how big or small your donation, no matter what it is, we'll make it as easy as possible for you to help Lyrics For Life. We'll send you a self-addressed, postage paid envelope to send your donation to us, making the process as easy as possible for you!
